Our Body Butters:

Rich, thick, organic shea-based moisturisers with all-natural ingredients that feed the skin, repair the skin’s natural barrier and seal in moisture for lasting effect. Free from petroleum byproducts, alcohols and artificial fragrances/perfumes that ultimately harm and dry out the skin.

 

Ingredients:

Cold pressed plant oils & butters {coconut, grapeseed, shea, cocoa}, comfrey, calendula, beeswax, essential oils {calendula, chamomile, jasmine, lavender}

 

Active Botanicals

• Comfrey is a wonder plant for skin care and healing! Allantoin in comfrey helps reduce inflammation and soothe irritated skin. It also acts as an emollient, locking moisture into the skin and helping strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. Keratinolytics in comfrey allow the outermost layer of skin cells to shed more easily, creating a smoother, moisturised skin with improved texture. Tannins protect the skin from bacteria and environmental toxins by drawing out impurities and encouraging healing. While rosmarinic acid adds to comfrey’s antioxidant effects and helps to protect the skin from UV damage.
• Calendula has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving all kinds of skin irritations. It also protects from the sun’s harmful UV rays and deeply nourishes the skin. It helps promote new tissue growth in wound healing and boosts collagen production too, adding anti-ageing properties.
