Description
Lime & Ginger Foot Scrub
This exotic citrus-scented foot and leg scrub doubles as a foot soak. Energizing and revitalizing. Soothes pain and relieves inflammation. Packed with antioxidants and vitamins to relieve and revive tired feet and legs. Gently massage over legs and feet. Available in a 90ml tin or a 140ml jar. Includes a small wood spoon.
Usage Options:
- Apply and gently massage over feet and legs, paying special attention to rough, hard and callused areas.
- Brush off any salt, leaving behind the oil, and leave on for 30 mins to 1 hour before you usually shower/bath. Alternatively, you can leave it on overnight (brush off the salt, leaving behind the oil, and put socks on).
- Optional: for a deeply relaxing foot soak. Pour a basin / bucket / bath with warm water and add a tablespoon of the scrub to water. Apply product onto feet and legs, then soak in the warm water for 15 mins. When you take your feet out of the water, you can reapply and gently scrub the now-softened rougher areas to remove dead skin.

ACTIVE BOTANICALS
- Lime is an excellent source of vitamin C, B6 and the phytochemical Limonene. Limonene has anti-cancer effects and helps the body naturally increase the level of enzymes that detoxify carcinogens. The citric acid in lime makes it a great exfoliant, softening and breaking down dead skin. It prevents and controls odour while getting rid of harmful bacteria. Lime’s scent is cheerful and uplifting for the mood.
- Ginger promotes circulation, reduces inflammation, and helps eliminate bacteria and viruses. Soaking the feet in ginger is a remedy to help relieve colds, support good sleep and help calm the parasympathetic nervous system.
- Peppermint is analgesic (pain relieving) and cooling. It can help to reduce tension and swelling, while also energizing the body.
- Cypress helps ease muscle pain. Its antispasmodic action helps to loosen tension and cramping.
- Lemongrass contains antifungal properties which studies have shown are particularly effective against common foot fungi such as athlete’s foot and ringworm.
- Rosemary helps to improve circulation, ease stress, reduce pain and the inflammation of joints, and improve mood.
- Epsom salts are exfoliating, and relieve inflammation, aches and pains. Its antifungal and antimicrobial properties help treat skin disorders. Boosts nerve and muscle function while helping to prevent blood clots.
- Castor oil is supremely hydrating, rich in vitamins and essential nutrients that add suppleness to skin. Excellent for dry, cracked skin. Castor oil adds to your skin’s natural barrier, preventing moisture loss and helping your skin stay hydrated for longer. It also contains undecylenic acid – an unsaturated fatty acid antifungal agent – which treats inflammation, redness and irritation.
- Olive oil is full of essential fatty acids and vitamin E. Through its moisturising and healing properties it helps restore the healthy appearance of skin.
