Carefully polished to show the Orthoceras, rounded on the base matrix. Beautiful contrast between the white fossil against the dark grey to black matrix. You will receive one unique specimen. From Morocco. Size approx 5-8cm.

GEOLOGICAL

The Orthoceras are extinct straight-shelled cephalopods from the Upper Devonian period around 370 million years ago. They lived inside of their shell, had tentacles they could use to grab food and used jet propulsion, squirting water to move.
