GEOLOGICAL:

Rose Quartz is an opaque to translucent macro-crystalline Quartz that is a light to dark pink colour. The colour is usually considered due to trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese, in the Quartz material. Madagascan Rose Quartz tends to be fairly light in general but is famously very gemmy with a high frequency of rare star asterisms.
