Black Tourmaline One Side Polished 5.5cm. A big chunk of black Tourmaline, hand polished on one side to a high shine. Energetically excellent for gridding, scrying and mirror protection work. Otherwise just a lovely unusual Tourmaline product that’s extremely affordable given the size! Some pieces have minor vug like features else red to yellow specular like inclusions.

GEOLOGICAL:

Tourmaline is the name for a group of crystalline boron silicate minerals. This mineral species was identified by mineralogists in the 1800s. Its name comes from mid 18th century French, based on Sinhalese “t?ramalli”. Tourmaline becomes electrically charged when heated (pyroelectric). It is also piezoelectric (creates electricity under pressure).

Tourmaline can be found occurring in more colours and colour combinations than any other gemstone in the world! Tourmaline’s colours have many different causes.
